The need to build a centralized sports and entertainment facility is formulated in the district plan, Bronnitsy, Moscow region. The area along L'va Tolstogo Street, near Moscow Minor ring road is assigned for construction.
The main south-eastern front symbolizes modernity
The basis of the architectural concept is to connect the historical environment of the small provincial city with traditional buildings with modern architecture. The main south-eastern front symbolizes modernity. Two glass structures, built on the parabola basis are integrated into the main blind construction structure. Skew butts form the top directions of the access to the building.
Light glass structures, as well as glazing of the ground floor give the massive, long building an airiness and plasticity.
The front part of the building on L'va Tolstogo Street is a bright-red blind wall and is used for placing special advertising displays. North-eastern front faces the historical part of the city and conceptually unites past and present time. Super graphic arts on the front underline a symbolic connection of the new building with the architectural heritage of the city. The silhouette of the ancient city panorama on the front is made of facing tiles and is a symbol of interpenetration of the epochs and styles. Parabolic theme repeats itself in planning decisions of the territory improvement. In front of the main facade there is a stele with the emblem of Bronnitsy, which is a center of the composition.
Two glass structures, built on the parabola basis are integrated into the main blind construction structure.
The special attention in the project is paid to a garden space organization, planned on the slope and riverside of the river Kozhurnovka on the north-western side of the ground area. The park will be used by the center's visitors as well as city people. The natural relief of the ravine is used for the parking space construction that is a system of interconnected terraces, paths, stairs and viewing points.
The route along the parks' walks opens a panoramic view on the historical part of the city, central streets and the main city sight – Michael Archangel Church.
Space-planning decision of the sports and entertainment center is based on the functional scheme that maximally separates the traffic flows of the guests and the personnel. The entrance hall, the supermarket, passenger lifts, escalators on the ground floor are close to the main entrance, and utility and operational services, loading of the shops are closer to the opposite part of the building. Cinema theatre, nightclub, restaurant, fitness-center with a swimming pool, bowling, shopping space, SPA salon are located on the first and second floors.
